The nearest airport to Valley of Flowers is Jolly Grant in Dehradun. The airport sits 276 km away from the botanical gardens, and travelers can easily book a cab to Pulna. The road from Govindghat to Pulna is recently opened for travelers. Jolly Grant is well connected to major cities of the country.

Valley of Flowers by Train

Travelers have to deboard at Dehradun Railway station, which is located around 267 km away from Valley of Flowers. Cabs are accessible from the railway station to Pulna. This village falls on the way from Govindghat to Ghangaria. Dehradun is aptly connected to nearby places and major cities in India.

From Govindghat to Reach Ghangaria – Trek

As you reach the village, the next 9 km trail from Pulna to Ghangaria runs along a stunning and motivating river. Ghangaria sits at an elevation of 9600 ft, and the Valley of flowers is 11,500 ft. Therefore, the last 3.7 km trek is not steep and would be comparatively easy.

Govindghat to Reach Ghangaria- Helicopter, Pony, and Porter

For old people and travelers who don't want to opt for the trek, helicopter, pony, and porter services are available. Visitors have to reach Govindghat as the amenities can be accessed from here.
